My 1st Pregnancy ExPeRiEnCe...

When I think of it again, I just can't stop smiling.......

It was the third month of our new marriage life when suddenly my period didn't come. I was a bit mix feeling. My period will come exactly on the 28th day of my cycle since I was teenager... I always thick the date so I will know when is my previous period. Then, when I got married, I started to count my cycle just to make sure my cycle is consistent..(for family planning, eventhough we're not into family planning yet at that time.)

When I missed my period about 2 weeks, I feel excited to do my own pregnancy test at home, so I went to Watson to buy the pregnancy test kit. When I search in the internet about the accuracy of the home pregnancy test kit, I found out that the best time to do the test is early in the morning (first urine when you wake up) because our urine is not yet contaminated with any outside source (from foods or drinks we consume)...Of course it means that you have to do the test first thing in the morning when you woke up before you consume anything... Doesn't mean that you cannot do the test in the afternoon or other time during the day. Its just that it will be less accurate. Unless you do the test in your third months of pregnancy because at that time our hCG level (hormone during pregnancy) will be high already..

In my case, my period was only 2 weeks late than usual.. Meaning, my hCG level is still very low (if I really pregnant)...and the chances to detect the hormone was of course very low.. So, I have to do it first thing in the morning when I woke up...and tttaaaaaaaaadaaaaaaaaa...... my kit shows two line, but the second line was very blur, almost cannot see...(^_^)... hmm..I wonder if I really pregnant or not???

At the evening, I went to the clinic to confirm it. This GP doctor ask me to do one more test and the result is still the same (two line-the 2nd line was very blur). So this Indian doctor did ultrasound and surprisingly, he didn't see any embryo inside my womb... So, he said to me, either my embryo is still tooooo small or the embryo was outside the womb, i.e ectopic pregnancy. He even advise me to get ready of any circumstances regarding my pregnancy. He said, If suddenly my period came, just take it as a natural abortion (which is I cannot understand...or purposely don't want to understand).... But you know what....I didn't really believe this doctor...So I went to another clinic and see this female doctor (which is my ex-boss). She ask me to do another test (so, I have to donate my urine once again..hmmm....) and the result is still the same. She did the ultrasound and still see nothing inside my womb...then she straight away wrote a refferal letter to refer my to the specialist Obstetrician because she also thought that my pregnancy might be ectopic pregnancy....

To cut the story short...I went to see the specialist and she laugh at us (my husband and I) because she said it is not the time yet to meet this little tiny 'thing' inside my womb... "for God's sake, its only 2 weeks.........what do you expect to see??? Go back and come again 2 weeks later" she said...hahahahahaaaa..........Shame...shame....

And now, here is our "ectopic" little girl.... Active and healthy........... THE BLESSING OF OUR FAMILY.......
